Copyright Policy
Last updated: September 3, 2026
AfroLink Distribution respects copyright and expects artists and other users of the service to respect the rights of creators, labels, publishers, photographers and other rights holders.
1. Your responsibility as an uploader
Before submitting music, you must have the rights and permissions needed to distribute the recording and composition. This includes permission for samples, beats, collaborations, artwork, translations, covers and other third-party material where required.
2. Copyright complaints
If you believe a release distributed through AfroLink infringes your copyright or another right you control, contact us at afrolinkdistribution@gmail.com. Please include your full name and contact information, identify the copyrighted work, identify the specific release or material you are complaining about, explain why you believe it infringes your rights, and provide any information that helps us verify the complaint.
3. Review of complaints
We may review a complaint and request additional information from the complainant or uploader. Where appropriate, we may temporarily restrict delivery, request documentation, seek clarification or remove a release while the issue is investigated.
4. Counter-notices and disputes
If a release is restricted because of a copyright complaint, the affected uploader may contact us with evidence of ownership, authorization or another lawful basis for distribution. We may restore or continue restricting content depending on the evidence, applicable law and requirements of relevant digital platforms.
5. Repeat infringement
Accounts repeatedly involved in substantiated infringement or serious rights violations may be suspended or terminated.
6. False complaints
Copyright complaints should be made honestly and only when you have a legitimate basis. Knowingly submitting false or misleading claims may have legal consequences and may affect your ability to use the complaint process.
