Terms of Service
Last updated: September 3, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of the AfroLink Distribution website and any music distribution services made available through it. By creating an account or using a service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login information secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. Do not create an account using another person's identity or information without permission.
2. Music and content you submit
You must have the necessary rights, licences, permissions and authority to distribute every audio recording, composition, cover, sample, artwork, name and other material you submit. You must not upload material that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy or other rights.
3. Release information
Artist names, song titles, featured artists, songwriter information, artwork, release dates and other metadata must be accurate. AfroLink may request corrections where information is incomplete, misleading or inconsistent with platform requirements.
4. Review and delivery
A submission may be reviewed before delivery. A release may be delayed, rejected, held or removed where it does not meet our requirements, a digital platform's requirements, or applicable law. Distribution does not guarantee editorial playlist placement, a particular release date, streams or revenue.
5. Payments and fees
Where a paid service is offered, the applicable price will be displayed before payment. Payments may be made through the Airtel merchant code displayed by AfroLink. The current sample merchant code used on the website is 0111111; the actual merchant code will be updated before public payment processing begins. Do not send money to an unofficial number or account.
6. Refunds
Refund eligibility depends on the service purchased and whether work has already started. Any specific refund terms shown at checkout or in an applicable service agreement will apply. Where no refund is available, this will be stated clearly before payment.
7. Royalties and earnings
Where the service provides revenue reporting or royalty information, figures may be based on reports received from third-party digital services and may be subject to adjustments, delays, taxes, fees, chargebacks or corrections.
8. Prohibited use
You may not use AfroLink to distribute fraudulent, deceptive, unlawful, defamatory, hateful, infringing or malicious material, manipulate streams or metadata, impersonate another person, or interfere with the operation or security of the service.
9. Removal and account suspension
We may restrict, suspend or terminate an account or remove a release when reasonably necessary to address rights complaints, fraud, abuse, platform requirements, security concerns, legal obligations or violations of these terms.
10. Third-party platforms
Digital music services are independent third parties. Their availability, policies, content rules, analytics and release decisions are outside AfroLink's control. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms.
11. Changes to the service or these terms
We may update the service and these terms as the platform develops. Material changes will be reflected by updating this page and its date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
12. Contact
For questions about these terms, contact afrolinkdistribution@gmail.com or WhatsApp +255 753 195 829. AfroLink Distribution is based in Kamuli, Uganda.
