John Blaq (born Kasadha John on July 16, 1996 in Jinja, Uganda) is a prominent Ugandan dancehall, afro-pop, and hip-hop musician and songwriter. He is instantly recognizable by his distinctively deep bass vocals, high-energy delivery, and his signature catchphrase introduction, "Aya Basi", which kicks off almost all of his tracks.
